Brent Eisenberg is a partner with Matushek Nilles LLC. He concentrates his practice on the defense of product liability, premises liability, construction and asbestos claims. He is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Missouri. Mr. Eisenberg received the highest rating, "AV-Preeminent" from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and was named by Illinois Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in litigation in 2017 and 2018.

Legal Experience:  Brent Eisenberg has more than a decade of experience in litigation. Mr. Eisenberg served as second chair at several jury trials. He is skilled in oral argument, having argued numerous motions and successfully litigated cases filed in Cook, McLean, St. Clair, Winnebago and Madison Counties, and has defended suits brought in the United States District Court Courts for the Northern District and Southern District of Illinois.  Mr. Eisenberg regularly defends premises liability claims on behalf of an international steel company, product liability claims brought against talc manufacturers and construction defect claims filed against contractors. Mr. Eisenberg has also defended railroads in FELA and liability claims in both state and federal court. Brent Eisenberg excels in expert discovery, and has deposed plaintiffs' expert witnesses in virtually every Illinois and Missouri asbestos trial docket over the past decade.

Professional Associations:  :  Brent Eisenberg is a member of the Defense Research Institute Construction Law Committee and Construction Defect Subcommittee. Mr. Eisenberg is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association. 

Education:  Brent Eisenberg earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where he was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Advanced Trial Advocacy and named to the Dean's List. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Mr. Eisenberg worked during law school as an extern for the Cook County States Attorney's Office - Civil Actions Bureau and for the Honorable Ronald F. Bartkowicz, a Law Division Judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Prior to law school, Mr. Eisenberg received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in Business from Indiana University.

Admitted to Practice:  Mr. Eisenberg is admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Missouri, and the United States District Courts for the Northern District and Southern District of Illinois.
