Brent Eisenberg is a partner with Matushek Nilles LLC. He concentrates his practice on the defense of asbestos litigation, as well as product liability and toxic tort claims, and is licensed in both Illinois and Missouri. Mr. Eisenberg has received the highest rating, "AV-Preeminent" from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Legal Experience:  Mr. Eisenberg has more than seven years of experience in asbestos litigation, and has served as second chair at several jury trials. Mr. Eisenberg is Missouri counsel for an automotive parts supplier and has developed experience in the defense of automotive products in asbestos litigation. He is skilled in oral argument, having argued numerous motions before judges in asbestos cases, and has successfully litigated cases filed in McLean, Madison and Cook County, Illinois. He also has experience in the defense of FELA cases. 

Mr. Eisenberg has extensive experience in deposing expert witnesses, having participated in expert discovery on virtually every Illinois and Missouri asbestos trial docket over the past seven years. He has taken the lead portion of the discovery deposition of numerous plaintiff's experts.

Education:  Brent Eisenberg earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where he was awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in Advanced Trial Advocacy and named to the Dean's List. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Mr. Eisenberg worked during law school as an extern for the Cook County States Attorney's Office - Civil Actions Bureau and for the Honorable Ronald F. Bartkowicz, a Law Division Judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County. Prior to law school, Mr. Eisenberg received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a minor in Business from Indiana University.

Admitted to Practice:  Mr. Eisenberg is admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Missouri, and the United States District Courts for the Northern District and Southern District of Illinois.
